For this project, we worked with the hipages team to improve the design and usability of the tradie website. The team had rather ambitious KPIs to achieve and we used this as fuel to exceed their expectations and deliver an immaculate user experience. Leaving no stone unturned, the UnDigital® team got to work.
Firstly, we ran a comprehensive workshop with the team to discover each user persona and mapped this back to the content funnel. This then informed our design strategy and we created a web layout that would cater to each of these personas, creating the optimal environment for conversions.
Designing this website was a fantastic project for our team and allowed plenty of room for creativity. A key feature of the design was the animated app screen that showcased how the app works and its ease of use for tradies. Not only was this stylistically impressive, it was engaging and informative for users. This was accompanied by the implementation of a quick search feature that reorganised the complex navigation structure.
Next, we integrated the build into an existing Wordpress installation and implemented best practise SEO features to keep it leading in Google search results.
We'll continue to analyse the data as more tradies use the site to inform how well the strategy is working. For now, we have exceeded the expectations of the hipages team and we fully expect the data to show how successful the design has been in driving conversions over the coming months.
