Sydney based digital experience agency UnDigital has opened an office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, after one year of operation.
UnDigital has grown 300% year-on-year, and an additional 180% during the pandemic period on monthly billings.
This growth has accelerated expansion plans with an office of four to be remotely established following foreign investment
registration.
UnDigital co-founder and technical director Andrew Cornale says the opening comes off the back of six successful months of growth, particularly surrounding user experience strategy.
The office has been set-up in one of the Dreamplex locations in Ho Chi Minh City, and will be led by Tran Van Tai.
“Tran is the ex-Silverstripe Viet director and joins us to bolster up our technical capabilities in the platform as well as expand our custom software development offering," Cornale says.
"We have a history of working with Tran which spans over four years. Creating UnDigital Vietnam together is an exciting advancement and it’s a natural fit. His proven leadership experience alongside his excellent technical skills will help us establish an unmatched executional capability."
Van Tai says he looks forward to leading the agency's expansion into Asia.
"Our technical capabilities are continuously improving and I look forward to supercharging the growth of our team here,” Van Tai says.
UnDigital was founded by husband and wife duo Kristen and Andrew Cornale.
Previously, they ran a white-label agency called Impulse Digital which provided digital development services to some of Australia’s most well known advertising agencies.
“We’ve been white labelled for so long which has allowed us to build great relationships here in Australia. I believe this is the reason why the launch of our new brand has been so successful," Kristen Cornale says.
"We’re currently hiring in both Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney and are looking to connect with the best talent in the market. The project has been in genesis since 2018, it now has a name and I’m so excited to see where it takes us.”
UnDigital's recent client roster includes NSW Government's Landcom, Wisdom Homes, Hoot Homes, hipages and Fit Nutrition.
It has also built strong partnerships with Australian agencies including Bullet Studios, DOUBLESTAR CO and Kiindred.
